Love It! Only 5 dollars a car load, restrooms, portable ones that are closer to the beach area for emergencies, grilling and eating area that is shaded, clean area. Great place to take kids!
Nice place and only $5 per vehicle. Beach is pretty small, but that wasn't a problem for the kids.

Guards at guard shack are rude and the restrooms were out of order. They said they didn't have water...and it's a lake for crying out loud!!! I give it a huge thumbs down. I will NEVER go back to Carters beach!
Wonderful beach. We were there for labor day and found a great spot where we set up tables and grills and has some shade . short walk back and forth to the water . everyone there was easy going and having a good time. Some were kayaking, some fishing, swimming , sunbathing. Bathrooms are clean. Just beautiful .
